Adjust the FREQUENCY knob until the sibilance is most emphasised. For my recordings this is usually around the 8000 Hz mark Once you’ve found that frequency, under FILTER select ON You should now hear the normal vocal signal. Adjust the THRESHOLD down from 0. You will notice the S and T’s triggering the meter Keep lowering the Threshold slowly until you find the spot where the meter is being triggered by non-sibilance, then raise it back up slightly. This is a more “colourful” distortion method - it will change the sound considerably and you will likely need a bit of corrective EQ to get rid of the less desirable elements. Nevertheless, it can add some improvement when done correctly. Note also that you adjust the Low Cut and High Cut to isolate a range of frequencies you wish to saturate.
